Currently, under-screen fingerprints (FoD) mainly appear in mid-to-high-end mobile phones equipped with LCD for Samsung displays.

The under-screen optical fingerprint has been adopted by Samsung (Galaxy A), Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, etc. Samsung's supplier is Aegis, and Huami OV is based on Goodix.
In the third quarter of last year, the average price of optical fingerprints dropped from US$8 at the beginning of the year to US$5. However, Qualcomm’s exclusive ultrasonic fingerprints are still above US$10, which is indeed expensive.
