Realize localization for the first time! my country's first 8.5-generation TFT-LCD glass substrate production line ignited

On June 18, Bengbu Zhongguang Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. independently developed and constructed the 8.5-generation TFT-LCD glass substrate production line based on the float process.

According to CCTV news, this is the first 8.5-generation TFT-LCD glass substrate production line. The ignition of the production line also means that my country's 8.5-generation TFT-LCD ultra-thin float glass substrates are domestically produced for the first time, breaking the foreign monopoly and filling the domestic gap.

It is reported that after three years of construction, this glass substrate production line completely adopts the core technology and equipment independently researched and developed by CNBM Bengbu Glass Industry Design and Research Institute. The localization of all industrial equipment, with China's independent intellectual property rights, is a milestone in improving the initiative and voice of my country's electronic glass in the international market, solving the key technology of national electronic information display 'stuck neck

As the key task of the project, the first 8.5-generation TFT-LCD glass substrate production line was undertaken by Bengbu Zhongguang Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 5 billion yuan, covering an area of u200bu200b350 acres, and being constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project has an investment of 2.5 billion yuan, and will form an annual output of 1.5 million TFT-LCD glass substrates after it is put into production. The products will meet the application needs of domestic mainstream panel manufacturers such as BOE, Huaxing Optoelectronics, Huike Group, and CLP Panda.
