Yonhap News quoted industry sources on July 13 that Samsung Electronics is negotiating with rival LG Display and is expected to reach an LCD TV panel supply agreement in the near future. Earlier this year, Samsung Display, a subsidiary of the Samsung Group, announced that it would stop producing LCD panels from next year to accelerate the transformation of its TV display business.
