DIGITIMES Research pointed out that Taiwan’s LCD TV shipments in the third quarter of 2018 were 8.52 million units, a quarterly growth of 11.4%. Although Japanese brands will still be the largest customers of Taiwanese manufacturers in each season in 2018, they are expected to have a quarterly decline starting from the third quarter, while the proportion of European and American customers will benefit from the peak season effect and increase each quarter. As for the proportion of land-based brands in the fourth quarter, it can maintain about 10%.

In terms of the ranking of Taiwan manufacturers’ shipments, the top two TPV and Hon Hai’s total shipments in the third quarter have fallen to 70% of the Taiwan manufacturers’ shipments. It is expected to decline in the fourth quarter, mainly due to the better performance of other companies. Good.
