The 6.1-inch LCD screen iPhone will have a variety of color schemes, but no red
Earlier this month, well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released a new report stating that Apple plans to introduce some new color options for the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone. Now, Japanese media Macotakara has also reported that Apple will release a new color LCD iPhone.
Guo Mingchi initially stated that the 6.1-inch iPhone will add gold, gray, white, blue, red and orange color options. However, Macotakara said that its supply chain sources suggest that the 6.1-inch LCD model will use a color similar to the iPhoneX leather protective cover series.
It is reported that the 6.1-inch iPhone may come in white, black, bright yellow, bright orange, bright blue, taupe or gold. This is similar to the color series provided by the iPhone5c, which has options such as green, blue, yellow, pink, and white. Interestingly, Macotakara did not mention that Guo Mingchi predicted that the 6.1-inch iPhone will launch a red option, but Apple may, like this year's iPhone 8, postpone this option until the middle of next year.
Macotakara's prediction: white, black, bright yellow, bright orange, bright blue, taupe, gold
Guo Mingchi's prediction: gold, gray, white, blue, red , Orange
In any case, this year’s 6.1-inch iPhone may be Apple’s first mobile phone with a variety of colors to choose from after the iPhone5c. This is reasonable because the iPhone 5c is priced lower, much like the positioning of the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone.
In addition to the new color scheme of the 6.1-inch model, it is expected that this year's higher-end iPhoneX will also add a gold option. Apple once planned to launch the golden iPhoneX in 2017, but the device has not been officially released.
